Wayne's vocals have been turned up this tour. Take that as you will.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!

*falls to the floor, sobbing uncontrollably, clutching a teddybear*

WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY YYYYY????????

I find his voice turned up in the mix a teensy bit annoying. Hope they sort this out outside Wales.

Listened to SATT for the first time in maybe 3 years today, for all the pomp and bluster it's still just such a thoroughly enjoyable record. Really really enjoyed hearing those songs again, even Underdogs.

The slow creep back to fandom continues apace...

Welcome To The Dead Zone is still a better album :P

So they get rid of Sean Read, turn up Wayne Murray who has a terrible singing voice and bring back Nasmyth who can't sing. What the hell are they doing?!? :P

Oh go on, one more time won't hurt. I've already heard it multiple times today.

Did they actually get rid of Sean Reed or is it just a case of him having other commitments? Strange to see him in the Show Me The Wonder video either way.

Speaking of Show Me The Wonder, finally got to listen to my album last night. Had to peel the sticker off the cellophane, who the hell does that. Whatever anyway... Bit premature, sticker saying about the album including the "hit" single Show Me The Wonder. Does 77 count as a hit? It's lower in the charts than Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now by Starship, what the fuck.

Also, as much as I love the album I'm surprised how universally accepted (except Franny, the contrary twat) that it's great.

that starship song is better than SMTW :D

Haven't listened to A Vision of Dead Desire for aaaaaaaaaaages! Now it sounds so different.

I like RTF so much that I've decided to buy the vinyl.

Can we all just take a minute to appreciate the music of SYMM? The weird, frosty-morning sweeps of the verse, the chasms which open up in the bridge, the reverse drums of the fill into the chorus, and that glorious laconic solo, stretching out into the morning air and soaring away on the last wave of late brit-pop elegance.

and then you hear the lyrics and it all falls to pieces

Not at all, they're shit but they're eminently ignorable.
