£45 is ouchie but I'll be picking this up as I want the remastered b-sides, and the demos could be intriguing. Not bothered about the lack of DVD (never watched the previous anniversary DVDs more than once anyway), and to be honest not too bothered about the big ass photo book either if that's the reason they're asking for that amount of money...

Holding off on ordering from the MSP store, see if another stocker will have it for a more reasonable price.

Interesting how Yourself is the only one without a demo, another studio creation then?

When TIMT20 came out didn’t we get an online video by Kieron Evans? I wonder if the same might happen again

Interesting that that’s the first time (I think) they’ve drawn a parallel with Queen in La Tristesse. If you listen to songs like Princes of the Universe or Gimme the Prize, the vocal is almost identical

Nah, that was £100 + PFAYM shoebox with an exclusive demo on a bleeding cassette...

2 copies left at £15 in the pop up record shop in Byres Road, Glasgow. Also EMG vinyl box sets left for £20, should anyone be interested.

Oddly I think it's the 4st 7lbs. chorus where I think he sounds most like Freddie

Another good one.

And I think they said that PFAYM (the song) was a sortof nod to Somebody To Love at the end

Ah, A4 book. If they've already messed up the Manics deluxe edition shelf, why not go the whole hog eh?
Going to have to wait until this is slightly cheaper, I think. What a ridiculous price.

Cheapest I have found for all versions is at Townsends

iTunes Canada has the remastered version download available for pre-order - no book - $13.99.

Symmanine 13-03-2020 09:15

Damn.... this is too expensive. I think this is where my "collect everything" stops... :/

amay 13-03-2020 14:46

Is the unsigned vinyl available anywhere else apart from the official store? Not keen on spending over £50 for 2 copies of an album I'm not bothered about...

everlasting 13-03-2020 16:55

Seems like they've put off a lot of us with the price sadly. Give it maybe six months and it'll be reduced by a tenner easily. I didn't rush out and get the Truth set and waited about 6/7 months until it dropped a bit.

ForeverDelayed.com 13-03-2020 22:04

Didn’t get the signed LP and it looks like it sold out. Damn.

As much as I wasn’t the book set I’ll be waiting for prices to drop.

So glad it's been remastered! The t-shirt looks shockingly low quality, think i'll skip that as band t-shirts on a 45 year old isn't my ideal look

Got the signed CD from the official store. All versions are expensive though. Hope that the official store launch later some better apparel options.
