Lifeblood Survivor

It's that time again...
...and it's time to find the superior cuts from a firm fan favourite.

There is, of course, a B-side survivor, featuring the single (and DVD) b-sides, plus Japanese bonus tracks and the God Save the Manics EP.

Choose your least favourites!
The album survivor has now ended: the winner was 1985.
The B-side survivor has also ended: the winner was All Alone Here.

If my favourite goes (which is currently in the lead) I'm just going to close my eyes next time, tap whatever option I get and go with that.

First ones easy!
Always / Never and Dying Breeds

Always/Never ??????

NEVER!!

Their best gigs and most unappreciated album but marked Nicky's return to form lyrically.

Despite how good the gigs were, I remember JDB looking sheepishly at the crowd a few songs in at the NEC and confessing 'Erm... I've had 4 pints!'

I can’t handle these anymore.

Always / Never is letting someone down. Don't know who exactly.
Failure Bound is in the evening sun it is intensely sad.

Last one was due to my blind voting tactic. It was the first thing I hit after the black border on the left and thought "No, aim slightly more to the right. There you go. Oh I like that one. Ah well, you made a commitment to doing that!".
Apologies for any inconvenience.

Imagine this album with Automatic Technicolor on it. Or Everything Will Be. Or really any songs to replace Fragments or Glasnost. Still one of my fav Manics eras. The leather. The white guitars. Sean's great hair. The Lifeblood and PPF gigs. Good times.

Symmanine 30-03-2018 09:40

How can Voodoo Polaroids still be there?!

Automatik 30-03-2018 18:12

Imagine: Litany was the working title of Lifeblood and was probably intended as a single. One of my favourite b-sides, really.
