same, apart from one band which the setlist was written on a napkin.

MANICJAZZ 29-07-2007 14:03

I went to four of the gigs on the tour, not once did I come within a sniff of a setlist, I was right at the front everytime aswell! Every time the random girl next to me got it not me =P

No idea where it was though! It stood out as a good one.

It's perhaps a bit lame to be bringing this old post up, but Nicky told me and my bandmate tonight at the Corn Exchange that he'd nicked one of the quotes from the booklet we gave him with our CD when we saw them at Barrowlands in May and used it on the website - I'm assuming he meant this, as it's one of the ones we used in the booklet. We were extremely excited, as you can imagine.

That is all.

I've got this upstairs, I'm too drunk to trust myself to get it out to check. Remind me and I'll dig it out. I've got quite a few from various gigs actually..

Amanda 16-12-2007 16:06

just to stay I've started updating the first post to bring things more up to date, but theres an awful lot of gaps there if anyone would care to help fill them.

14/12/2007 - Brighton: "I can't stand the crap that gets talked by everyone - Players, Fans, The Media, Club Officals. Why should I waste my time listening to people who are clearly less intelligent than me" - Unknown Source

It doesn't actually say 'Unknown source' on the setlist, it doesn't say who the quotes by at all.

Thats a bit odd, thanks for posting it though :)

I've added the quote in the first post - still quite a few gaps though

I was given that set list just before the support act came on at the Brighton gig. I did not look at it as I was told to hide it. When I got back to my Brighton Hotel I took it out and found out it was the Bournemouth set list and not the Brighton one  Mind you I went to the Bournemouth gig as well so I was pleased anyway.

does anyone know where this quote comes from? bit odd for a welshman to quote the new italian english football manager.

mank 12-01-2008 14:42

scratch that, i answered my own question after a bit more google work!

"People say I am impatient when it comes to football and they are right."
After Real Madrid's 1-0 win over Real Zaragoza in January 2007

a thinly veiled dig, gotcha!

Thank you, I've updated the first post for it and put in last night should anyone be remotely interested.

masquerade 03-06-2008 13:30

The Elliott Smith quote is wrong, though I can see from the pic that it was typed wrongly on the setlist too. It should read "This IS not my life...". Just saying.

Lloydius57 22-08-2008 11:39

Quote from last nights gig in Newport was

"We Live In Urban Hell. We Destroy Rock N Roll"

Thank you, I've been being a bit slack but I've just updated the first post for that and some of the other european festival dates - I'm pretty sure I have an Oulu setlist somewhere too (Sam you have Reading don't you? whats the quote?)

If anyone can help with any of the others itd be nice to fill in some more spaces.

Fridays is already up there. I remembered it all on my own.

Do you have our Oulu setlist - I think we were sharing it as we gave the other one away but I couldn't find it so by a process of elimination thought you might have it.

I didn't note it but I did remember it - its at the top not the bottom though so does it belong in my list? and how would I include it? its all a bit confusing.

I guess it is a quote, or at least it would make sense if it was, as theres the whole 'do you believe in magic?' bit in join our club by saint ettienne - is that where its coming from?

go_buzz_baby 16-09-2008 11:59

you dont define in the title fo the thread or the first post where the quote has to be placed on the set list do you?

Amanda 09-06-2009 11:48

Thought I'd resurrect this in case anyone picked up a set list - I think at home I've got both from one of the Londons and Belfast and a one half of another London - but that still leaves another 14, so if anyone managed to pick one up if you wouldn't mind posting I'll update the first post accordingly.
