The Masses Against The Classes wasn't a TIMTTMY b-side.

Incidentally, I consider Masses to belong to the KYE era.

Glass Angel 16-02-2018 21:20

Well. I think we all know how day one is going!

Your rules WhatsAManic, but I would put Masses in KYE era too.

WhatsAManic 16-02-2018 21:34

Alright, here's a new B-side survivor minus Masses: http://www.strawpoll.me/15087742

SYMM and Buildings for Dead People winning? Idiots!

Glass Angel 17-02-2018 19:10

I think TIMTTMY's singles were by far the strongest tracks, which I don't think has necessarily been true for their other albums.

I agree with SYMM - should have been a b-side - but don't understand the antipathy toward Buildings For Dead People. Great guitar and drums on BFDP, and some striking lyrics ('queue for bread is entertainment / when they're trying to blow your head off') ('from the womb into the tomb') ('buildings for dead people / paintings for the blind / incapable of giving life / or taking out your eyes').

I voted for you stole the sun.

WhatsAManic 17-02-2018 21:26

As I expected, S.Y.M.M has proved it's still unfashionable.
I didn't expect to see Buildings for Dead People leave so early though.

Yep, your least favourite.

WhatsAManic 18-02-2018 21:28

Be Natural doesn't want any friends and Valley Boy has lost the power to speak, it lost the power to eat.

Valley Boy, the Mr Carbohydrate of TIMTTMY, with one of the best openings of any Manics track.

I passive-aggressively hope you're all very proud of yourselves for what you've gone and done.
