So they have 2 days off in the U.S.....

What they doing? Stopping for a cheesesteak in Philly on the way to NYC? Any press? Any appearances? They should have tried to get on a late nite show or something while they're here! They could have made their US Network TV debut!

Would have been interesting hearing The Intense Humming of Evil on Letterman.

I tried to get tickets last month to Fallon for April 23rd just on the off chance that the Manics would be on that day. I was unsuccessful but it would have been cool even with no Manics since Monty Python is going to be on that day.

Maybe they're just sightseeing in the greatest country in the history of humans!

If I'm not mistaken, I think this was actually taken at a Sobey's in Toronto (my memory isn't what it used to be so I could be wrong). Oh wait! According to some real geniuses on this forum and elsewhere, Toronto is in the States. Sorry, carry on! :)

Ha!

Tbf, the U.S. is a really beautiful country. I'm sure you'll agree, Tim. :)

I know, this is an old 2009 photo. But I'm sure Nicky is somewhere gazing at an equally big serving of food. :P

Yes, yes it is! 2009 tour! Remember when they said they'd be back in 2 years tops? Ha!
