When this gets repressed they better spread it across two pieces of vinyl. Ridiculous to have this on just one.

In fact, I think it was the very first Manics remix that made me sit bolt upright and realise that a remix could be something entirely, utterly, wondrously beautiful and bewitching.

Listen to it. It's so washed out and fatigued and fragile and frail and floaty like.

LOVE that Kinobe remix. I have it on several sleepy/chill playlists. So good.

The David Holmes remix of Tolerate is probably the definitive Manics remix, IMO.

Nicky basically just told a mate who interviewed him. Boxed set happening. Maybe a one off gig, but not thinking a tour.

Excellent, hope the one-off gig is in Kettering

Watch and learn, Nicky. This is how our friends at GNR do a box set.

Yours for a mere £850.

Christ, don't give them ideas. I think they got burnt over the £120 or whatever it was Postcards box was. Nice though.

Not seen this TFI performance on for ages. Seem to remember my VHS chewing this so fun to watch back. Behold, a truly horribly edited version of The Everlasting.

I'd love to here some of the demos, and although a tour of the album would be amazing, I do wonder if the lull in tempo between Tsunami and Black Dog might feel a bit odd for a Manics gig (assuming they played it in order). With the singles gig at the o2, they didn't play them in chronological order, could they do the same for an album tour?

As for the faster version of some of the songs, I can quite believe it, based on this interview with James in 2001 (cropped from here)

Amazing how the value of the formats has changed somewhat.
