Interesting! is it definitely on the 19th then?

I wonder when non-members tickets go on sale?

Last time they played there was Forever Heavenly... very cool gig

Marconi Delorian 06-03-2018 10:06

All seated?

Don't knock it! You can close your eyes and watch a silent movie. Or is that just me?

Marconi Delorian 06-03-2018 10:54

I was seated at Bon Iver the other day, that was fine. Don't think I'd like to do a whole Manics gig in a seat though.

UEF 06-03-2018 11:28

When they last played there there was a lot of “stand in front of your seat” going on

Finally, a decent venue...

Cool venue.. they'll let u stand in the stalls seating don't worry. I was standing up in the tiers at the heavenly gig

Although Royal Festival Hall is a seated venue, you are encouraged to stand at this gig.

Anyone else thinking what I'm thinking? What with the whole "goth vibe" going on they might get their darkest stuff out ie Die In The Summertime, Intense Humming of Evil, Mausoleum etc...

IS this likely to be a Manics show, or a greatest hits type of festival type vibe? I'd be tempted to go to this for something different, but only if they play a full proper Manics setlist.

Wished I lived in the UK. Wouldn't mind seeing several acts. Robert Smith did a good job getting these folks, Manics included.

I'd err towards it being an 8 song "You're Love Alone"-fest

Oh, I've just realised i'll be on holiday when this is on. Thankfully My Bloody Valentine is the weekend after, so I'll try and get tickets for that instead.
