JFPL is in my top 3 Manics albums and brings back great memories at a time in my life when I was very happy.

However, the tour was a bit of a disaster for me personally - I had bought tickets to go to three gigs - Roundhouse x2 and Wolverhampton. I came back from holiday in Dubai the night before the first date in London and I came down with pretty bad food poisoning, needless to say I didn't want to let that stop me from seeing the boys so I travelled to London on the day of the gig and I kind of felt okay. I went to the gig and all I remember is feeling like crap and I must have left half way through and gone back to my hotel. I missed the next two gigs! So I only got to see half a gig on that tour, something I'm still absolutely gutted about.
