PPF at Leeds was one of the best nights of my life. The whole experience (including the sweat dripping off the ceiling!!!) the 758 trains to get there, the ridiculous thing about trying to get a God Save The Manics thing and then it being OK because someone ripped the vinyl anyway. Ahhhhh memories. And of course, meeting up with some incredible MSP friends from online and off (which, come to think of it, is probably the last time that really happened which makes me feel slightly nostalgic for those naive days of the early-ish internet.) I have had some great nights since then with the band. But thinking about that night takes me back to a moment in time in a way many other gigs can't. To be fair, that probably means I can't review the gig objectively in any way! But for all those reasons and many more, it's a very happy memory for me.
