Cool To 'educate' or 'influence'?

Here's the thing...
you want to introduce people who (as you say) would normally listen to 'Glee' anthems or Taylor Swift.
So....you don't want to scare them away with the more 'challenging' stuff....no!
How about....'Small Black Flowers that Grow in the Sky' from Everything Must Go, to make them stop, listen and think? It's a beautiful, haunting song!
Alternatively...'Masses against the classes' to influence their train of thought!
The teachers shouldn't mind, because it quotes Albert Camus at the end! You've introduced them to contemporary European literature...go to the top of the class! QED!! ; )
