With Reading/Leeds, the main issue is that Reading is the heritage of that festival. Although Leeds is now very well established in the North, that's happened at a time when the BBC has reduced its coverage of live music. It would be nice to see and hear shows from Leeds, but most bands play the same setlist at both sites, so it makes sense to do just one. Perhaps they should alternate the years?!
