Re-listened to it for the first time in months today. I find it difficult. It was the first album they released whilst I was a fan, and so it’s always got a special place in my heart.
In hindsight though, it was clearly tough for them to do, and I think the marketing of the album (William’s Last Words being viewed as Richey’s suicide note) left a really bad taste. Not blaming the band for that one, but always sticks out to me.
Would love to hear something from it on the tour though...
