Neither paper nor magazine they've instead made an appearance in the book I'm reading The Wild Rover: a blistering journey along Britain's footpaths by Mike Parker....specifically Masses Against the Classes by the 'shamelessly precocious' Manics which he plays loud and considers the quotes and inspirations as he's pondering on the struggle that went in to opening up the countryside to us plebs

The reference and the book generally cheered me no end as I made my back from roving on a drawn out slow bus route

'I must go down to the seas again, for the call of the running tide
Is a wild call and a clear call that may not be denied;
And all I ask is a windy day with the white clouds flying,
And the flung spray and the blown spume, and the sea-gulls crying.' (from Sea Fever - John Masefield)

That perches in the soul
