Over 15 years ago I went to the Royal Albert Hall to see Stereophonics. They hadn't announced any support acts and the rumour was that it was likely Starsailor.
As it turned out the support acts comprised of Roger Daltry, Ronnie Wood, Paul Weller and Mr James Dean Bradfield.
Paul Weller came out first with an acoustic guitar and a stool, played a tune or 2 and then was joined by James and Kelly Jones.
Unfortunately he only sang one song (You're the Best Thing) but played guitar on some others. Just recently I saw that some kind person recorded it (audio only) and put it up on Youtube.
