I think you can definitely make a case for it being like SATT and PFAYM in some ways, but it has its own identity too, and I would argue there are, in keeping with the themes of the album, fragmented pieces of broken nods to all their previous work, both musically and lyrically.

So my advice to everyone who hasn’t heard it yet is not to worry, and try not to prepare to judge it too much on your first listen either. I will be interested to see what everyone thinks of it, but I think I’ll be more interested to see what people think of it after a few days or a week or so... it’s at once brisk and pacey, but also quite densely layered, IMHO.
