The Manics have always been a great b-sides band but the
Send Away The Tigers era is the only era where the b-sides actually make up a whole album of quality tunes on their own that are better than the decent tunes + shallow lyrics of SATT. There is so much more depth to the lyrics on these b-sides! And I'd forgotten just how orgasmically good the chorus to "Boxes and Lists" is.
If you've never been into making your own MSP compilations, put this album together and give it a go - I'd love to hear your opinions. And if you enjoy it and want a cover for it, feel free to use the one I've made.
EDIT: As it's a cover, I haven't included "Red Sleeping Beauty" but for the record it's fucking awesome
