101 misconceptions about the bands and the fans.
Actually... 101 is too little... ok then, ONE THOUSAND AND ONE misconceptions about Manic Street Preachers and the fans!

1. You have to agree with Nicky's political beliefs. (fans)
2. They actually keep in touch with the thoughts on FD (the band)

it's not that we think it's cool, it's just that when you have experienced (or still experiencing) one of those issues, you're actually more indulgent towards them and you tend to try and get comfort from singers/musicians/artists who have been through it like you have. you stop seeing them as issues and start seeing them like a part of your life, so they become kinda normal. not cool, normal.
you simply learn how to deal with them, you have to deal with them because they're a part of what you are.
and talking about those issues is a good thing, even if you have to put your face in it (like Richey did). there're still too many people thinking we're some kind of crazy gits.
