Hi, I know that this might be the weirdest of questions, but I'm wondering "what's the danger?". I mean, I'm from Italy, and I know that here there are dangerous zones, but in my head Canada should be the safest place ever, and instead I've read your messages (and Vancouver's) where you don't write what is the danger, just because you know it. But I don't, so just out of curiosity, can you explain what danger lies in certain zones of Canada?
Thank you and sorry for the weird question.

This video is trash, right-wing propaganda.

It's in East Van on the PNE grounds. Pretty shitty venue tbh. Just a cavernous small arena type place.

And less than 6 km from Downtown Vancouver, but...

I would be looking at staying downtown and taking a cab or the bus.

I don't recommend taking the bus. Please google "downtown eastside".

Ugh...the bus is fine from downtown to the PNE. Yes, the street can be confronting but it's not unsafe on the bus.

It may be fine during the day, but I wouldn't take the Hastings bus at night.

Definitely something to consider sure. But I imagine the buses leaving the venue area will be busier than normal. Cab would definitely a great option.
