The Holy Bible Survivor
I think Son of Stopped summed it all up the best:
Quote:
Expect ties, rants, conflicts and the inevitable possibility of war as Forever Delayed fights to find the best and worst songs of the Manics' masterpiece. The album is the high point, but what's the low point of the album? Find out below. I have always considered the B-sides to be the Bible's low point... there's only three and they aren't that remarkable... and the survivor will last just two days. Which it has, so you can't vote on that. I should tell you about the future plans for these survivors: after all the albums and B-sides have been covered, there will be a 'best of the best/worst of the worst' poll for the best/worst album tracks and B-sides. Get your voting hat on. This'll be fun. SONGS PREACHING EXTINCTION: 13. She is Suffering 39%, 12 votes 12. The Intense Humming of Evil 28%, 8 votes 11. Revol 42%, 11 votes 10. Mausoleum 19%, 5 votes (tie) 9. This is Yesterday 24%, 6 votes 8. Ifwhiteamericatoldthetruthforonedayit'sworldwouldf allapart 28%, 7 votes 7. PCP 26%, 6 votes 6. 4st 7lb 25%, 6 votes (tie) 5. Die in the Summertime 36%, 9 votes 4. Of Walking Abortion 32%, 10 votes 3. Faster 44%, 11 votes 2. Yes 55%, 27 votes 1. ARCHIVES OF PAIN 45%, 22 votes 3. Love Torn Us Under 40%, 10 votes 2. Sculpture of Man 52%, 12 votes 1. Too Cold Here 48%, 11 votes

I'm still passing. Before the holy Bible gigs I would have voted for the intense humming of evil first but Sean made me love it so I can't vote for anything. Not even revol. Worst track? does not compute!

She is Suffering is the weakest song on the album. I think by a long way.
4st 7lbs is the best crafted lyric on the album for me, looking at it with a critical eye. Obviously, I can understand that it might be too intense for some. Last edited by Europa Gluten Free; 16-01-2018 at 13:48. |

No vote from me. Richey suffered his art and I think THB is beyond an album to disclude any

Very difficult indeed. Love these polls though.

One day in... and it's as controversial as I'd expected.
She is Suffering's been sucked deeper in and Love Torn us Under has betrayed its other self. Album poll is here: http://www.strawpoll.me/14860651 Last day of the B-sides - short but sweet: http://www.strawpoll.me/14860659

Shocked, I tell you! Shocked and appalled!

I'm already stuck! She is Suffering was easy but where to next? I feel that any choice is a bad choice......none deserve to go next (though some deserve to remain more than others I guess).

Some people need to have a good long look at themselves in the mirror!
Revol and TIY in the top 3! I think there is going to be some huffing and a lot of falling out here before the new album is out! And just to add: Faster is not the best song on the album. It encapsulates the album and the era, but it ain't the best goddammit! If it wins I don't know what I'll do!! Probably bash the keyboard, have a wee cry, and then get a cup of tea and some dark chocolate digestives. |

The Intense Humming of Evil was never counted, it never amttered, will never be.
On the final day of the short but sweet B-sides survivor Too Cold Here just pipped Sculpture of Man as the favourite. This is probably the last easy day: http://www.strawpoll.me/14868448
