Manics to do any other festivals this year?

Apart from Isle of Wight, obviously... Any possibilities/hopes for the summer? I haven't been on here for a while, so I don't know if there have been any rumours circling about

Yeah, I was just looking on the efestivals forum for V - and a few people seem to think they might be in the line up.

Well they said the tour would be a good warm up for the festival season so it would be a bit stupid if that 'season' amounted to one gig for them

Hope so, hoping for Leeds! I'll get a day ticket if they do, I was thinking of going for one day anyway.

I reckon they should try to get themselves to Coachella or SXSW, surprised they haven't so far. As for UK festivals I'll be surprised if Isle Of Wight is the only one. They've been bragging about exclusive festival bookings and haven't mentioned Manics as one.

This pleases me greatly. The V line-up can sometimes be a bit hit and miss, so Manics would improved it MUCHLY!

There's always one really shite day at Reading/Leeds so day tickets is probably a good idea. I know I'll end up doing the whole weekend though.

I've been put off doing the whole weekend at Leeds by the amount of people in my year who'll go just to spend the whole weekend completely wasted even if they don't really like any of the headlining artists; one of my friends said she wanted to go but she wouldn't want to be sober because otherwise she wouldn't enjoy it! Personally I would want to remember what went on and what the artists were like. Also, I can't really afford to go for the whole weekend, seeing as I'm meant to be saving up for uni

I live about an hour away from Bramham Park and can't go to any of the May dates so Leeds would be ideal really, hint hint if they ever come on here

I feel your pain, I've been with people who drink in the mornings and see about 4 bands, waste of money, I drank equal amounts in the evenings and saw 30+ bands.

My cousin's been for the last 2 years and he was going on about how they would go to the Tesco about a mile away and buy a massive crate of beer and carry it back to the festival site on foot, and then start drinking each day at 8 in the morning and not stop until midnight. I'm surprised he actually remembered anything, but miraculously he did. I just don't get it at all
