A Design For Life 2015 Remaster
Some of you may have spotted on eBay a 12" acetate of an unreleased new mastering of ADFL dated 2015.

I managed to contact the engineer who re-mastered this for Sony & he has confirmed that it's a 4 track 12" single (played at 45 rpm).

The tracks are:
A1: A Design For Life
A2: Dead Trees & Traffic Islands
B1: ADFL (Stealth Sonic Orch)
B2: Mr Carbohydrate

He wasn't told what project it was for - my guess - Record Store Day 2016?

This is great news! The entire Everything Must Go album could use a remaster and while we're at it, TIMTTMY has piercing treble that could use taming too...

I just confirmed with a record store owner that there will be a ADFL 12" single released in the US for RSD.

Keep forgetting when RSD is, reassured by how readily available the Holy Bible vinyls still are though. Aye, I'll pick up one of these...

How does RSD work? How can we find out what stores will be stocking the DFL 12"?

I asked in a store a last year whether they would be getting THB and the guy told me that they don't really know what they will get or how much until pretty much the last minute. Maybe a few days before.

I wonder if it will be another picture disc or in a sleeve? It might look good if it is was a 12" replica of the original packing, with inner sleeve and a sticker sealing it up.

Not sure, hopefully won't be too hard getting hold of a copy either way, last year's vinyls are still easy to come by.

MSP "Remasters" are a joke. Brickwalled rubbish, the only difference is the overall volume. The same applies to THB 10th and 20th.
