I believe, but don't quote me on it!, that the physical single will only be available in the boxset that you can get from HMV.

I was surprised they didn't have the box sets in HMV in Manchester for the signings yesterday. Has anyone seen one yet????

To be honest, it wouldn't surprise me if they were. Or perhaps ripping it all to 96kbps mp3 and making the CDs from that.

Yeah, the box and the pre-order deal with HMV seem to be the ones. Sadly I have neither, was kind of hoping for a physical release.

I received the physical copy when I pre-ordered the limited edition CD/DVD version from HMV. At the time I ordered this, the single was part of a bundle.

I *think* the physical version of TITD is being released next Monday.

If anyone has a spare TITD & national tresures limited edition, Im willing to swap a unopened copy of the Q mag/vinyl edition of national treasures. Im willing to negotiate on cost differential. Id rather do a swap than list the spare vinyl on the bay.

I got the CD single with the CD/DVD version of the album from HMV that seemed to be available for only a limited time, so I'm glad my mum ordered me it when she did.
Didn't the single come out a few weeks back and not even make the top 100? I've not really followed much Manics news in the last few months due to being out of the country.

Awesome! Thanks for the help! Sounds good, I pre-ordered the hmv box set on this premise, but was worried when there was no mention of it on the website!
Thanks again!

Hope I can get in to town on Thursday and see what is knocking about in HMV! Hoping there will be a boxset hidden away in a corner somewhere!

I've watched three copies of the HMV single sell on ebay for around £40 now. Sony will be getting ideas...

£40 for a freebie, though. You could have pre-ordered both editions of the album for free and paid for your Q vinyl.
