Marat's post made me wish we had a like feature! And feel every post I make is insignificant alongside.
So... Do you think we'll get anything more videos in the Friday's leading up to April the 12th? I did check TLORN video and it had uploaded "16* years ago". (*=maybe more years) Looking forward to the remastering of that video. Touching wood I might be able to top up my order with a physical of the standard edition from the shops. I know it all goes online in the end on their channel. But it's a no brainer there'll be a flurry of Lifeblood YouTube activity very soon. Reviews should come in by the end of March, shouldn't they? I am still incredibly invested for my own good in the success of the Lifeblood reissue. |

Took him long enough!
Found this old rare pro shot of 1985 from the Lifeblood tour: https://youtu.be/yIYD8DGUM60?si=OQNR__XBZdRmxdyk

Aye, 1985 sounding like ABBA? These demos should be interesting!

Finally they're coming around to the size of their accomplishment. It fills me with a surprising sense of relief.
Also, thank you for the kind words Son of Stopped |

That Marat Sar!
But yes, interview sounds like more Wire bullshit - like the massively different version of Tsunami, doesn't it? I do like that line though "we had a certain aesthetic which was based on things like New Order’s Lowlife period" I get that it does, and instant feeling is that I wish the album had a bit more of that influence. |

Should go in the radio thread. But tonight on 6MusiEdiT: Radio Fucking Wales at 10.00pm. Nicky Wire will talk about Solitude Sometimes Is. Last edited by Son of Stopped; 23-03-2024 at 15:24. |

Wasn't the demo, could have been the remastered version though, bass sound it a bit clearer.

Had the radio turned down to not disturb and I didn't recognise the guitar. I thought it was mixed lower down. I'll have a listen louder in a bit. Posted it to the wrong thread at first!

Has Nicky ever acknowledged that the lines "If black were truly black not grey, It might provide some depth to pray" and "To black out all the worlds of men And demons too but even then" are lifted straight from the Louis MacNeice poem 'Greyness is All'?
