Worst Manics lyric

I don't have problem with any Manics' lyrics. It's just like ripples in the fabric of spacetime. They fill the void even if something like "tiny massive hands" or "sad facebooking".

Tiny massive hands, for example, I like. James just sings it with such conviction, and I can - as with many daft manics lyrics - kind of imagine a universe where it is really meaningful. And I'm not even being sarcastic right now.

I think the type of lyrics that the Manics write will always lead to the odd poor and clunky lyric. I was listening to KYE recently and I'd never noticed how clunky the line "Liberal Asinine Pricks" sounds.

He's gladly stopped doing this and that's one of the reasons RTF and the new album had in their favour.

Good call. KYE has some of my least favourites, including pretty much all of Royal Correspondent and (fitting the above criteria) 'Like a stunned fox / With memory loss'.

Bizarrely, Nicky Wire thinks this is one of his best lyrics.
