Some Sales Figures...
According to Mediatraffic, Send Away The Tigers sold 53.000 copies on it's first week out. About 80% of those sales are from UK.
PS. Your Love Alone Is Not Enough UK sales are 43.000 copies at the moment (not counting this weeks sales). If You Tolerate This Your Children Will Be Next UK sales were something between 300.000 and 400.000, with first week sales of 156,000 (effing loads). Don't really know about Motorcycle Emptiness. It's over 100k though. (thanks Music Week and Martin at haven) U.K. To Date Albums 69,868 Manic Street Preachers - Journal For Plague Lovers with Postcards From A Young Man (number 54, 5,348 sales) U.K. Music Week report We know that Generation Terrorists is Worldwide around the 300k mark. just thought it was interesting. I'd have thought JFPL would be closer to 100,000 sales now in UK, surely? Guess not.
Tolerate sold loads, that's amazing.

It did seem ridiculously low for a GH, as if they'd only counted the 2CD edition or something.

Yeah I thought that to, But it actually went platinum in it's first year. I would guess it's 2 x platinum at least now.

Loads of copies of TIMT and EMG end up on ebay, in charity shops. pound shops etc. The second hand place over the road from my office has always got a couple. Travis and Coldplay are big bargain favourites too. And Fever by Kylie.
