My first gig was the Manic Millennium, but that was only because a friend had a spare ticket so I paid her for it. The first gig I actually ordered tickets for myself was the first night in Manchester in 2001 - *fabulous* gig, possibly the best I've seen by them (James playing 'FTS' solo on his knees, Nick's best ever stage rant, and then seeing him stalk around the stage singing 'WB').

I should have seen them on the KYE tour, but due to a cancelled train, I couldn't get to Manchester and so, on the day of my first ever Manics gig, I had to go back home and cry instead. So my first gig was on the Forever Delayed tour.

My first gig was on the Truth tour in 1998 at the MEN Arena. Awesome show, completely blown away by it. Saw them at Manic Millennium and then on the 2nd night at Manchester Apollo on the KYE tour.

I got into the Manics at the age of 15, so that was 1998, but I didn't get to see them live until December 2002!

I think that was my 4th manics gig. Some kind lady in the queue put my eyeliner and eyeshadow on for me, cos I was struggling a bit in the cold. I wonder if it's anyone off here.

It makes me feel young that there are people on here who first saw them for GATS, GT or earlier... and it makes me feel old that there are people who weren't even born when they toured THB.

Saw them earlier but not early enough to see Richey as I was too young and too poor to buy tickets so it was 96 for me. Brilliant and been a gig junkie ever since. I'm seriously worried now with gigs/festivals being anounced and I'm out of a job in 2 months...
