Not going to buy it to listen to it, only buying it so I'm not missing a manics CD in my collection.

Mr Lightbody has an awesome voice, plus he seems to be a really nice chappie, who doesn't love an Irish lilt?

Absolutely not. I had already pre-ordered before the leak anyway. Not having a full set of Manics CDs on my shelf is unthinkable

Just got around this minute to pre-ordering it off Amazon now. Hope there's a nice thick booklet inside the album with cool photos and lyrics.

I was thinking about this this morning (because I'm cool), and thought I was a bit rude, so I'm sorry about that. I get a bit cross about people criticising SP pre-Final Straw as so many people rule them out essentially because they're popular. And a bit rubbish now, but ignoring that. When It's All Over is not an album that I listen to frequently (and you're right, Last Ever Lone Gunman is one of the only ones I do listen to a lot), but it rewards revisiting. Hope that makes sense!

This is a good example of what annoys me.

I'll back you up Commie, early SP was rather fine and to be honest anyone who hasn't listened to the entirety of 'When It's All Over...' doesn't know what they're talking about.

And no, the leak has made no impact on me cos I'm waiting to buy it. Like a patient ninja.

There should be a 'gold star' option for people like me who are too repressed to give people s. Not a lesbian gold star.

I'll admit that on first listen the album didn't reall excite me, but when I'm a record collecting geek who owns 8 different copies of the same album that doesn't really matter. I have the single disc version preordered, the others are down to money

No. I haven't listened to the leak. I only bought JFPL last week on sale from HMV. So i'll wait until this album is reduced before buying it. The days of me either pre ordering online or rushing to a shop to buy a new MSP album are long gone. Sadly.

Given that the 2 disc JFPL is now available for under a fiver I think I may be doing the same with that.
