Independant Record Stores in Scotland

I'm doing the 3 gigs in Scotland so has anyone any recommendations for some independant music shops in the towns I could visit while I'm there?

In cemtral Glasgow you could try Avalanche (next to Queen St. Station) and Missing records (under the bridge at Central Station).

There's an Avalanche Records on Cockburn St in Edinburgh as well.

In Aberdeen. the best one is One Up Records, on Belmont Street, just off Union St. There are also some really good bars and pubs (Vodka Bar, Drummonds) and places to eat as well (Books and Beans).

The Avalanche next to Queen Street station has been bought over, however its pretty much the same. Altho not independant FOPP next to central station is pretty good.

I didn't know that (although I don't use record shops...), I pass it a lot and never noticed anything new at all.

There's also a vinyl only shop on Byres Road called The Vinyl Hut, and an Oxfam music a couple of doors away.

There's a second-hand record shop called Unknown Pleasures on Canongate in Edinburgh which isn't bad.
