This Is Yesterday Live

OK - a shameless plug for the website but this is a genuinely great and pretty rare unreleased recording: This Is Yesterday Live from 1998.

quite possibly the worst live version of TIY. ruined by too much Naysmith organ. James' acoustic versions are better live versions.

You can't listen on the website unfortunately - I'd love to have put the tracks up to accompany the write-up but copyright laws and all that....

Last nights version in Glasgow was pretty awful, too slow and sounded in the wrong key

I thought it was ace!!! I think I wish the original was like that, in fact.

Interesting factoid from Jimbo Dean Bradders tonight: TIY was the last song they wrote for THB, and they were unsure whether they should put it on the album...

Good thing they did, it makes an excellent interlude before everything dies.
