I don't know if you're going on the barrier, but take whatever water they give you. I would advise either standing on the barrier or standing in the middle of the venue. Also a lot of venues won't let you take water in (and Brixton Academy in particular wouldn't even let my friend take her chewing gum in, let alone her water) so don't bother buying any outside. Oh and yeh, no booze (not that you could get drunk in there, Brixton again charged me £4.50 for less than two inches of spirit+mixer. )
