With regards to The Godfather 3, I went to the cinema to see it when I was about 14 or 15, after seeing the first two - the film is RUINED by Sofia Coppala's 'performance' (wonder how she got the part!)

because she is reprising the role? it was Sofia being christened at the end of Godfather Part I, a logical choice to have her play the character again?

that said, she is a considerably better director than actress - the mind boggles, on that rationale, at just how good a film directed by Madonna could be.....
