Although the idea of a monarchy in one of the worlds leading democracies in 2011 feels little old fashioned, I quite like the lot we have and don't mind spending my 60p a year or whatever it is on them.

I'd be more interested in the RAF planes doing their fly overs of the palace, to be honest.
