Quite the adventure. I hope I didn't do anything too embarrassing or give anyone hassle whilst in that state, but you see I had already made the bad decision of downing a water bottle full of wine at around 2:30 and then expanded on it by buying another. The haircut was immaterial, it was simply getting in my eyes.
In the absence of any sort of planned accommodation I met a random ex-local, his pal, and his lovely French girlfriend. They took me to a club. After that I froze at the station for an hour or so and then just went walking, not a soul around, was the most gorgeous and peaceful situation to be in. The way back is always total agony, limping from the walking, hallucinating from sleep deprivation, medication providing the worst hangover imaginable, a nice test of mettle. |

You weren't too bad but you were a bit of a state, I was kind of worried. The haircut suited you though.

We had a ride in a car with some nice boys from Snowdonia.
"Where's Chris?" "He's having a piss." "Where's Chris?" "HE'S HAVING A PISS!" Epic. Then I was supposed to be taking a photo of Contraries with Nicky and accidentally took a video instead. Nicky seemed amused by my lack of technical ability. No doubt he felt he'd met a kindred spirit. And then the angry face/Blackstar amp/longest tweet on the internet thing happened. |

I had a ball. Fish and chips, drunken fun before and after, brilliant sounding gig. This came out pretty good:

It was all pretty great. The chippy near the Travelodge in Colwyn Bay is one of the best I've ever eaten at. And there was a cat. And a man from Wigan screamed in my face. And we won 3 quid on the itbox. Oh, and there was some gig or something, that was pretty good too

I threw up on the Esplanade. In the afternoon. I'm so rock'n'roll.
