I keep attempting to compile this list, and keep getting stuck. But, for what seemslike the hundredth time:
1: 1985 2: a design for life 3: intravenous agnostic 4: motorcycle emptiness 5: you love us 6: the year of purifiction 7: roses in the hospital 8: I'm just a patsy 9: faster 10: all we make is entertainment 11: stay beautiful 12: nobody loved you Hmmm. Some strange choices. As much as I like tyop, I'd never use it as a song to try and introduce someone to the manics. Odd. Though annoingly, if I were compiling a manics cd for a friend, using this formula would automatically preclude masses, motown junk and suicide is painless, three of my favourite manics choons. Now I'm going to attempt to compile the 'least favourite' version of this. 1: the everlasting 2: if you tolerate this your children will be next 3: born to end 4: indian summer 5: I live to fall asleep 6: she bathed herself in a bath of bleach 7: I'm not working 8: marlon jd 9: born a girl 10: gold against the soul 11: fragments 12: don't be evil Which raises the question: why was it easier to pick the least favourite one than the favourite one?

His Last Painting 11. Pretension/Repulsion 12. No Surface All Feeling The opener was probably the hardest decision! Tracks 9 and 10 seem to be pretty poor in my Manics albums. Pretension/Repulsion sneaked in ahead of Stay Beautiful as I can't believe, that despite JFPL being my second or third fave Manics album I didn't have a single track in there.
