With you all the way!
But with Manics almost EVERY song sounds better live, when I first saw their live performances on yt, I was like 'omg, I have to see these guys live somehow', and I haven't been on a concert for *coughs* a veeery long time. Simply didn't feel the need to with anyone else (well except Rush maybe, but that's post-Manics time for me)

I like the recorded version of YSTS, can't say I've never yet heard a live version of any song better than a recorded one.

Obviously live versions are gonna sound a wee bit better cos they're live and if you are there to hear it live, even more so!

I like more the verion of Roses on the record these days although in the past I heard good live versions of that song.

A Design For Life, when the crowd sings the 2nd verse and James somewhere starts Summer Wind and it's the last song in the setlist and you're so happy so your heart is gonna burst because it's so full of rainbows.

More energy live, ME is a perfect example for me, on the record it sounds almost like a ballad!
