A lot of bands tend to re-release the whole lot, so I think the manics should really
They know we like it even if they don't so it's time to put their OTT criticisms aside and just enjoy the highs and lows of it all. Only they could complain that their 'worst' album spawned 2 number 2 singles |

I hope this happens at some point, if only for the b-sides being made widely available for the first time. Perhaps a 25th Anniversary Edition in 2018 if not this year?

Soon or later, when they come to one of those points when they've got no more new ideas, but in need of money and with a nostalgic feeling, then the re-release of Gold Against the Soul will happen, followed by a lot of documentaries and interviews.

I think we may see Truth re-release this year. I just have a good feeling about it.

Yeah, could easily make a decent dvd for that, stick some of the Jools, Brits and Glastonbury footage on it. I'd love to hear more of their thoughts on that album too cos being the first album with no Richey on it, it's kinda a second debut for them and broadly speaking I think it divides fans more than any other of their albums. It's an awkward album, but I love it.

It is if you want to live in groundhog day buying the same songs by the same bands ad infinitum.
