Yep, it is weird. Althought I've heard "Dinja" as a nickname a lot of times.

Oh, btw, I think in the Spanish speaking countries Clementina (some kind of sweet and small tangerine) is a common female name, isn't it?

Yeah, I know it can be a name in those countries. In Hebrew, Clementina means mandarine. I remember laughing when I heard it for the first time.

And I don't know about "Dinja" as a nickname, but it sounds cute!

My mother, for example, her name is Vinka, making Dinka for a nickname which deforms to Dinja as the final result.

Not only my mother, I think I've heard it somewhere else too, but I'm not sure now.

Haha my old English (supply) teacher's called Dinka, that's the first and only time I heard that name! And now your mum ofc. (but that's a nickname). And Dinja is a cute nickname as well, I wouldn't mind if people were calling me that!

Well, Dinka souns pretty old fashioned anyway. And I haven't heard this one elsewhere either. I've heard Dinkas used to be common in Dalmatia.

"Anal" is very unwise as a name. If it's a daughter, you can always delete the "L" and make it a very common name - Ana. Then everyone will think of Ana Karenina and believe "oh, literature loving parents", but only them know the well hidden truth. mwhahahahahahahah

Actually, I remember long ago on television on a documentary about anorexia and bulimia passionates in Croatia they gave nicknames to the two diseases - Ana and Mia.

I think the real shock factor here is Honzlynn! I mean, Adolf is at least a name. But Honzlynn that's a suicide-at-ten name!
