1. Whole Lotta Love 2. Sweet Child O'Mine 3. Back In Black 4. Smoke On The Water 5. Layla I'm not saying those aren't great riffs, just very predictable top 5. The full list has some good selections though. I'm in a very classic rock mood all of a sudden I don't see the point this vote when the riffs up for vote for were compiled by a panel of 'guitar music experts' (who, based on some of the selections, aren't sure what constitutes a guitar riff). |

Congratulations Manics , thinking of it 13 or 2 would have been the only really fitting positions so can't complain! Just a shame we didn't get the full version but time constraints etc
Was worried such a fantastic riff wouldn't get the recognition it deserves but seems the British public (well lots of Radio 2 listeners at least!) really do think highly of it. Very pleased Led Zeppelin beat G'n'R in the race for top spot too. |
