"Just An Ambulance At The Bottom Of A Cliff." - 5,000 word essay on The Holy Bible.
http://www.thefinalword.co.uk/content/view/1293/25/
Bit of obvious traffic baiting, but I wrote two weeks ago a huge thing about "The Holy Bible" and its role in my life.

Very beautiful. Thank you for sharing. I had to swallow back tears a few times and especially the part about your mum was touching. Even after all those years of the record coming out I have been listening to it so much. Even more so recently esp. after my mum passed away 4 months ago. I feel you. And even though my mum was no real Manics fans she liked JDB and whenever she heard a Manics song = me playing her songs (even Holy Bible stuff!) she would always say "Oh It's HIM". HIM was always her code for JDB.

I read your essay on my iPad the other day and bits of it are still popping back into my mind a few days later. A very powerful piece of writing. Thanks for sharing, markreed.
