Manics Millenium concert anyone?
Anyone else going to watch the DVD tonight? As usual, I've got the DVD on, probably won't watch the entire thing, but about 10 songs in so far. Such a great concert, the lads were on top form that night as always, James really went for 100% on every song. Hope we get a new live DVD / Blu Ray sometime.

Being a new years denier and all round grumpy old git i bypassed even Jools Holland and stuck to fare stashed on my hard drive

Currently watching an ep of Wheeler Dealers as im a bit of a petrol head

Since I have my job (And worked the shift of someone so couldn't do much last night) Give seriously turned away from TV and listened to music and gone online instead.
Wish I hadn't sold my second hand anyway copy as it would of been a good watch last night before going to bed for 10-6 shift.

I hope one day we can see out NYE with "Be Pure Be Vigilant Behave"!

Ha, love how I started this thread one year ago. Only gonna watch one song tonight on Youtube as my dvd is at my parents so will plug laptop into the TV and make my girlfriend watch it with it me. Happy New Year folks and hope it's a good one for the band more than anything!!!

I watched the dvd tonight, in full, and it's still such a great gig. Shame the dvd is clearly edited down to the songs and highlights and the subtitles are way off a lot of the time but still, a great watch.

I was at the millennium concert. It was fantastic. Though only time i've been to Cardiff.

Feels weird that that gig - 18 years ago - was considered almost an end of career retrospective at the time.

But it didn't have an end of career feeling at the concert.It also seemed inevitable they'd continue ....and that Richey might return. Its weird the amount of richey look a likes then. They also only played a few from THB
