Happy 20th birthday, where is Nicky’s joyful emoji tweet for KYE
Instead we get a boring barbed label tweet. It’s messy but great as it’s interesting. Hope we get the reissue...someday.... maybe 25th birthday....

Not read that tweet but the official page eight hours ago ManicStreetPreachers (@Manics) Tweeted:
On this day in 2001 Manic Street Preachers released their sixth studio album ‘Know Your Enemy’. Critics were divided in their opinions. What are your memories of its release? https://t.co/aW8vTnEdEX https://twitter.com/Manics/status/13...997627396?s=20

This was the first Manics album I bought after having been given This Is My Truth Tell Me Yours about a month earlier by a friend. Fateful!

I'm hopeful a re-issue will come out by the summer time. I really hope they cram everything in there they can. Bit disappointed by the last two (Truth and GATS) having no DVD as there would be so much cool stuff to watch from those periods and a new documentary. My main hope is it won't be a huge book with just 2 CDS like GATS was and be quite pricey.

Surely the fact that Nicky didn’t post about it means that he’s saving it for the announcement?

Intrigue! The cover is missing!!

ManicStreetPreachers (@Manics) Tweeted: It’s a great painting sir-still love it-just wish I knew where it was-a proper art mystery tried hard to track it down but no luck-should be hanging in the National Museum of Wales Cardiff IMHO 💖💖💖 https://twitter.com/Manics/status/13...352617472?s=20

I thought that was a bit weird when I saw it - I'm guessing the guy who originally posted the pic of the cover is the artist. He doesn't know where it went?

Great cover, one of their best IMHO

Oh it is! If they ever decide to make Jigsaw puzzles of their album covers
(Police Statement: Before they were killed on their rampage, neighbours did hear shouts "Where's the end pieces of Everything Must Go? It's all light blue!!!")
then KYE is the one I'd get more enjoyment out of completing.

I would have liked a clean print of the album cover. But if it's missing, it's seemingly missing then.

If the artwork is lost does this mean they'll use it as an excuse to use something else for the reissue? They do like to tinker with the past

Jigsaws would be awesome. Lifeblood will be hellish....

I'm sure they have a high resolution scan but I think it's more a case that the actual original artwork has gone walkies. Fact that the question has been asked suggests that this reissue hopefully isn't dead just yet !

I'll be waiting until the Design for Life single cover comes out as a jigsaw before I start collecting them.

The artist that did the painting just posted a cryptic message with what appears to be artwork for a Manics test pressing vinyl... don’t know what that’s about.

Anyone has any thoughts?

Maybe a picture disc for RSD 2021? Let Robeson Sing? That had two separate vinyl 12” editions, so maybe one of both of those
