-in the 2 month leadup to the manics show here i stopped listening to them and didnt do any reading up on them (ie go here) in case they cancelled their show here AGAIN. i was quite paranoid. i was trying to pre-assuage any disappointment a cancellation would lead to. because i remember being highly annoyed ten years ago they cancelled.

-oh, and ten years ago i went to spain to study the civil war. in fact, that was my concentration! now im a kinda-sorta expert in it. nicky seemed mind-boggled when i told him this. i'm thinking about getting my PHD in world history - if so, i would study the civil war again. (might as well, if i know the most about it, youknowwhatimean?

You've managed to cram a fair bit in though - in 13 years of liking them, and 8 years of gigs I've only managed to get a weak handshake (clearly not satisfied with that experience) off James this year because he was in a rush, and sigs from them on my ticket whilst they were talking to other fans two years prior. I've not put too much effort in though.

if it is any consolation (not that you need it), you are not the only one guilty of this kind of thing - i once got involved with a girl purely because she looks like Patsy Kensit, and i would like to make it clear that this was in the days before Patsy got involved with Liam....
