Some of the comments in here are gold. Gold, jerry!
But there are suggestions that make me feel people have taken leave of their senses.

It will be very close. People are buying additional copies on iTunes and Amazon now as well as the new merch bundles, one of which has sold out (Deluxe CD) plus there are still the Q&A ticket bundles that are selling too. Merch bundle cut off is 4pm today, maybe there is one last offering on the way?!?!?!

330 ahead according to official charts - how many would you imagine they’d need to sell today in order to stay ahead?

I reckon at least 1,000. They must have had quite a few copies of the Deluxe CD + merch bundle that have sold out and that was an hour or so ago. I honestly thought the Steps digital deluxe album offering would put them well ahead but it hasn't worked. The Manics are still going....

By the way, the lead on Monday was 3,000, on Tuesday it was 1,000 and the lead yesterday was 1,500 and obviously the lead today is around 300.... I am still confident.

I hope you’re right. I did see the bundle had sold out and they added the standard CD version. Fingers crossed there is a last minute deal with some cool stuff. Surely nowadays it can’t be that hard? £5.99 cd on the website plus a video of James showing off all his guitars.

James needs to knock out acoustic versions of the album tracks. It's been a day since Steps announced their deluxe offering. 24 hours is enough for James to knock out 11 acoustic tracks and for them to be mixed!!

I think the fact that Steps have been quite steadily closing the gap mean that they will probably overtake the Manics in time for the chart, so I'm preparing myself for disappointment.

Time is running out but Nicky still has the solo album as bonus tracks option left. H from Steps doesn’t have a solo album to respond with, I’m convinced of it.

Do it, Nicky. End it right here and right now. Unleash the jazz.

They increased the lead from 1,000 to 1,500 once, they can do it again, just need to hold on and have a decent sales day to keep ahead!!!!
