I'd like to work for them as singles advisor but I don't think they'd pay any attention to me. |

And yes, I am a far greater fan of 1985 than I am of Cardiff Afterlife. In fact, I don't understand the fascination some have with Cardiff Afterlife.

Hmmmmm I'm sure I read somewhere once that ASFD was to have been the third single backed with the two Japanese LB tracks and the songs that later came out as God Save The Manics over various cds. Also heard 1985 muted but never Cardiff Afterlife. ASFD was also played on Jools Holland along with the first two singles so that's what I'd put my money on.

Hope there's another single release from this new album before it's out. Can't believe the band don't bother to release vinyls now of singles, lots of other bands and artists still do Just hope they pick a better single choice than they did from the last album, as Futurology was a bizarre single choice, although I often find myself singing it at random times such as the other day, it does get stuck in my head yet it's not a fantastic song at all.

JDB sounds like he needs a caffeine injection on the acoustic version. That’s what YouTube’s 1.25x speed was made for.

Sedate. Feels like a mix of Lifeblood, PFAYM and RTF.
Interesting to hear how JDB handled the riff sections that form most of the end of the original.

It's a really lovely track actually but james does sing it in a... particular style. Not off putting as such but strangely disconcerting.
