Sod’s law that the Manics would release an album I only like 5 songs from and it ends up getting to number 1 But hey, it’s my boys and they beat those bastards Steps!

Congratulations lads! And well done to the good old fashioned power of the FD community. Amazing work. Fingers crossed now, as deadmartyr said, that we now get the full KYE anniversary edition, complete with the album being split into its original two album form.

Amazing that it's this, of all albums, that gave them their first number 1 since 1998. I think RTF is the only Manics album to have less broad cultural impact than this.
