I wouldn't be surprised if there was some sort of 12" tied in for RSD, maybe SWSS Avalanche Remix or something, but I really doubt the main reissue will. For a start, CD RSD releases are almost nonexistent.

The existing 12" SWSS Avalanches record is a banger and readily available of course. It's great for sticking on on a summery day.

I actually can't stand that remix, and really can't fathom the idea that it's somehow better than the glorious original version.

But again, you've got to look at it as "They must be adding finishing touches to it" with regards the reissue.

Well anyway that was last November. He can't have complained he had nothing to do in lockdown. So the DVD will be incredible. Imaging condensing it all into half an hour?

But yeah, it's probably still being worked on. How much longer anything can happen. The thing that got me through first lockdown was "GATS box getting issued...".

Where else would you expect to read such a statement!
It must be still being worked on, so let's relax and whatever thrown at us we'll always be able to at least think "Fuck you! Know Your Enemy in a booklet box type thing is happening this year!"

Relax. Although 19th of March. That was it's original release date in 2001. Set a Timer (or alarm?) on your phone for its birthday. That'll keep you going with that Friday business.

Going on the last few, we're more likely to get a special on Sky Arts than a DVD.
Still hoping for a nice BluRay of all those films together, though. BluRay Deluxe Boxset. Maybe with the next best of in 2023.

Wasn't it rumored that was the one and only time the band came really close to ending? Lifeblood was around that time when the music press was dying off and the internet was quite as ubiquitous as it is now. This is one period of the band's history I perhaps know the least about.

I think it's the Cuba thing that is stopping all of this. Nicky having to bat away questions about how stupid it all was. That or they have new music coming out soon. That's what I'm clinging to anyhow.
