Oh well, thumbs up to the lad with longish red hair for singing along to You Love Us anyways!

My stream keeps crashing also. Maybe the keyboards just don't translate very well across the interwebz?

I remember on the Aberdeen Forums there was quite alot of sneering about the Manics, there were a few fans on there as well though!

I'm going to have to give up on the streaming I think. It's just stop/start and jerky for me. I'll have to hope that it's on the iplayer later.

We shouldn't moan, but this reviewer obviously wasn't there.

http://news.scotsman.com/entertainme...iew.6798915.jp

"And so they charge through the hits with enthusiasm: You Love Us, Everything Must Go, Motorcycle Emptiness, Faster. Each is attacked ruthlessly by the band, with the support of an audience who sing every line."

And we could have lived in that beautiful fairytale land alongside him if it weren't for the meddling BBC.

One lad was singing every line though so he's actually correct!

I agree, sadly, that they should stick to the smaller stages and headlining them and having a blast in front of people who like them instead of people who have no idea and don't even applaude at the end of songs. I said to my folks "this is the worst crowd I've ever seen!" and my dad said "they're obviously not impressed". Stupid crowd, I think I saw one guy singing in all and then when he saw the camera was filming him he just started getting excited about that. I hate festival crowds, I can't help it. Oh, and boring long shots of people on rides in the distance doesn't interest me, I want to watch the Manics Goddamnit, stupid TV people!!!!

I'm gonna try refreshing it now and then but will probably watch it later!

Yeah, the fairground shots were a bit pointless. Oh well, that's festivals unfortunately. Let them get all excited about N-Dubz if they must!

Just made a complete idiot of myself by texting one of my colleagues that I 'saw' on the barrier in the TV footage. She texted back to say she had no idea what I was on about. Mistaken identity.
