True but he can always just ask Nicky is also Ian's puppet so he can put as many Echo & The Bunnymen songs in the set as he wants and Nicky shall obey

haha true. Just thought if they do killing moon does that mean we'll only get one other acoustic song? It'll be YSTSFMH won't it and i wont get to hear ready for drowning or SB

I thought he kinda dismissed that line did he not? I recall a few years ago he quipped something (negative) about it...

Nicky tweeted that at 11:49. well over an hour before we heard that the gig was cancelled. At that time James might have still been hoping that he could do it.

yea, to be fair, they may have been waiting for James to seek a doctor's opinion at that point, or having a discussion with managers/gig venue itself about rescheduling.
