Remember, if you want the Wire to be in a good mood and get chatty on Twitter again, you've got to get the video to over 100,000 views within a week.

I like it. Videos filmed in aircraft hangers always turn out rather epic in their scale. The song good. I remember reading how Nicky thought that The Horrors "Still Life" album was one of the best British albums for a decade or so. The keyboards used in this song and possible the album would suggest that Nicky's wanted a bit more of that vast keyboard sound.

The video is good. I like the reference to Berlin's Bowie with the girls in the tribly red and black hats and long leather coats. Sean's got a nice new pair of Doc Martin shoes and the Lola girl has her hair cut like Richey did just before he shaved it off. The vest she is wearing reminds me of the one he was wearing in one of his last photoshoots.

From the video, I would have gone for "Beauty" and "Past" if you get me?

I'm glad to know that this song isn't about Richey.

Just watched the video and listened to the song. Enjoyed the video and think the song is really good, another catchy one that is gonna be stuck in my head for the entire year!

It's a good song but sometimes, a wee bit, I'd like the band to release something that didn't define them in such a way. I've just heard the new kasabian single "Eaz-eh, yes it is a shit title but musically the song is different, unexpected, etc. I kind of know what to expect from the manics now. Even Show Me The Wonder had a staple Manics structure and chorus. Now, if the first single had been EMGD then this comment would not have happened.

wow, that's awesome that song is.

video OK, it's like someone did Nicky an E240 with The Big Lebowski and Die Hard With A Vengeance on with him just taking his top elements of each.

i understand that there are people out there who like to shit on anything the band did, but blimey, finding the energy and creativity/borrowing to deliver that 12 albums in is rather special.

I have to say walk me to the bridge is amazing. Very quick on the pace but not too rushed. A future classic I'm sure.

It's a song I'd really like to see live. I remember not knowing what to think of Europa following the first footage of it played live, but after listening to it a lot and hearing it live twice, I really love it. Walk Me to The Bridge would be killer live I think.
